2015's Biggest Moments Are Relived In A 4-Minute VIDEO
2015 is just over one week shy from coming to an end, and looking back it's been quite a year.
So many stories dominated headlines this year, both good and bad, and this video is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to reliving them.
Unfortunately, several sad, horrifying, and awful moments will always be remembered by those who lived through them this year, including Donald Trump's criticized comments calling to ban all Muslims from entering the United States, the mass shooting at a church in Charleston, the death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore, the shooting at Charlie Hebdo in Paris, chaos over Greek bailouts, the Syrian Migration crisis, mass shootings nearly every day in the United States, including in San Bernardino, the earthquakes in Nepal, a fight to keep the Internet free from control, and ISIS attacks in Paris and Beirut .
However, despite all the heartache of the past year, there were moments that showed unification in both the United States and around the world, and ones that were worth celebrating and being proud of, because of the accomplishments they celebrated. Among those moments were New Horizons flying by Pluto, American Pharaoh winning the Triple Crown, U.S. Women's Soccer winning the FIFA World Cup, Serena Williams becoming Wimbeldon Champion, the Iran Nuclear Deal, the Paris Climate Agreement, Jon Stewart's epic final episode of The Daily Show, Caitlyn Jenner making history, Viola Davis' powerful Emmy Acceptance Speech, Bernie Sanders standing up in defense of Hilary Clinton's email scandal at the first Democratic debate, the legalization of same-sex marriage throughout the United States, and of course, the power of Adele's "Hello."
