Nintendo announced this week that it will launch the new ZombiU Wii U console bundle on Feb. 17.

The Deluxe Set will include a copy of the Ubisoft thriller ZombiU and Wii U Pro Controller. There's also bonus content tied to ZombiU, including an art book and developer commentary, according to Kotaku.

The bundle retails for $389.99 which is $40 more than the Deluxe Wii U, but $70 cheaper than the Deluxe Wii U, a Pro Controller, and a copy of ZombiU would cost if purchased separately.

The Pro controller and ZombiU are $50 and $60 respectively, so considering the regular higher-end Wii U bundle retails for $350, Nintendo is offering a pretty good deal.

The gaming company will release the bundle which is aimed at the select video game players who tend to play more Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 action titles such as the Left 4 Dead series.

Nintendo's website describes the game as a mix of horror and survival stating: "ZombiU is designed to take advantage of the Wii U and its revolutionary new controller and will test your will to survive in a zombie Survival-Horror First Person Shooter. So grab hold of the height of survival kits - your new controller - and stock up your Bug-Out Bag with supplies! Make every second count; you only get one chance."

The Deluxe Wii U console features a 32 GB hard drive and charging cradle for the GamePad controller. Consumers will also get a digital copy of the mini-game compilation Nintendo Land.

Since launching last November, Nintendo has sold 3 million Wii U consoles worldwide. However, that's behind the pace of the Wii, selling 3.19 million during the third quarter of Nintendo's 2006 fiscal year, which includes the first two months the Wii was available, according to the company's latest earnings report.
