Nida is serving an eight year sentence in federal prison after taking part in a huge scam that laundered millions. Authorities have been reportedly working to seize many of his prized assets so he can pay back the government; including his motorcycles.
The government revealed in documents obtained by Radar Online Wednesday, “The personal property of Apollo E Nida…is being taken by the United States.”

He owes $1, 949, 925.67 in restitution to be exact.
Interestingly enough, the bikes were at Kandi Burruss’ home. She and Nida’s wife were extremely good friends at one point and still star in The Real Housewives of Atlanta together on Bravo.
The U.S. Marshals Service popped up at Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker’s home on Nov. 17 in hopes of getting their hands on “a silver 2014 Ducati 899 Panicale Motorycycle, a white red top Yamaha Raptor 7000 4-Wheeler ATV and any property in which [Nida] has a substantial nonexempt interesting.”
As for what’s next, the government has until Nov. 17 of next year to sell it “on an Internet auction site, through a broker, or in a commercially reasonable manner.”
Burruss and Parks actually talked about the bikes being at Burruss and Tucker’s home on the season premiere of the show on Nov. 8. It’s not clear if that’s what tipped off officials, but the timing is pretty interesting. Even though Burruss was convinced the police weren’t considered about any of Nida’s belongings being held at their house.
