'The Good Wife' Season 7 Spoilers: Jason Set To Exit After Romantic Dalliance With Alicia? [VIDEO]
A recent TVLine report revealed what's on its wish list for the rest of season 7 of The Good Wife and it doesn't come as a big surprise.
Could Hillary Clinton Guest Star In An Upcoming Episode?
TVLine wants to see Jason (Jeffey Dean Morgan) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) to get it on in the second hald of the chapter. The report also reveals that it is very likely that Morgan will exit the show after this season as he has committed to The Walking Dead. So in effect this means, that Jason and Alicia will revel in a short romance if at all.
The preview for the midseason premiere, titled 'Iowa,' of season 7 of The Good Wife shows Alicia flinging things around in a fit of rage, barely missing Eli (Alan Cumming) after his grave confession to her.
The clip, which was aired on the Facebook page for the show, picks up from the scene where we left off in the midseason finale, wherein Eli had just told Alicia about his keeping Will's (Josh's Charles) consequential message from her years ago when Peter (Chris Noth) was campaigning for governor.
In the preview, as Eli says he is sorry, Alicia tells him she needs him not to talk. And yet, when he continues, she is seen aggressively standing up kicking off her chair, in a an intense buildup where she takes the dishes and starts smashing them against the wall, right by Eli. This confession of Eli is going to have a monumental impact on Alicia, that's for sure.
This event will definitely guide a lot of what goes on on the show after this point. Alicia will still have to work with and tolerate Eli's presence going forward, as Peter's campaign is in full swing and some stills from the upcoming episodes show Alicia and Eli maintaining a steely civility on tour for Peter to the Iowa Caucuses. Alicia might also more aggressively pursue people she might be interested in like Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), whom Ruth's (Margot Martindale) team was trying to pull away from Alicia.
Season 7 will return on January 10.
