Taylor Swift Mocks Harry Styles During Grammy Awards 2013 Performance? VIDEO
Taylor Swift was the opening act at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10 and during her performance of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together she pretended to have a British accent, a rumored jab at her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles.
The 23-year-old songstress said mockingly in the middle of her Alice in Wonderland-inspired performance "So he calls me up and he's like, 'I still love you,' and I'm like, 'I'm sorry, I'm busy opening up the Grammys!' And we're never getting back together, like, ever." Watch video below.
Other performers at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10 included a Maroon 5-Alicia Keys collaboration, Fun., Mumford & Sons, Elton John, Rihanna, Frank Ocean, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert.
Swift split from the 19-year-old One Direction singer in January. The Grammy winner has been vocal in the past about the fact that she draws inspiration for her music from her personal relationships, especially her ex-boyfriends. She has written tunes about celebrity flames including John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas.
"I've always lived by the theory that if a guy doesn't want me to write a bad song about him, he won't do bad things," she told Us Weekly in 2010. "And he shouldn't, you know?"
A source said the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer has been working on a song about her split since she broke up with Styles on Jan. 4, reportedly following a dispute they had while on vacation in the Virgin Islands.
Styles did not attend the Grammy Awards, since he is currently on tour with One Direction. Album of the Year went to Mumford & Sons for Babel and Record of the Year was Somebody That I Used to Know, by Gotye featuring Kimbra. For a complete list of the night's winners, click here.
