Harry Styles: I Don't Believe in Love at First Sight [VIDEO]
Harry Styles said in a recent interview that when it comes to his dating life, he sees himself getting infatuated with someone early on rather than in falling in love.
The 18-year-old One Direction singer said he does not believe in love at first sight, though he added that he does not plan on staying single forever.
"You don't really know what's going to happen," he told We Love Pop magazine. "If it comes along, it comes along.
"Sometimes if I like someone, sometimes it doesn't work out and sometimes it does. If the right person was there, I'd go for it. I wouldn't stay single purposefully."
When he first meets a woman, Styles said he falls hard for the girl but not in terms of loving her.
"I think for me, it's more infatuation at first sight," he said. '"You can see someone and I think 'She's amazing.' I wouldn't say I could fall in love at first sight, but maybe I just haven't done that yet."
Styles' most recent flame was I Knew You Were Trouble pop singer Taylor Swift. The 23-year-old opened for the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10 and during her Alice in Wonderland-themed performance of We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together, she put on a British accent that was rumored to her trying to mock Styles. The British singer did not attend the Grammy Awards, instead he and One Direction are currently on tour for their album Take Me Home.
The couple partied way in early January reportedly because of a dispute they had while on vacation in the Virgin Islands, where they traveled together to celebrate New Year's.
