Romeo Miller has dished on the drama we’ll see on the highly anticipated debut of WeTV’s Growing Up Hip Hop.

The series is slated to star Romeo, along with others who have Hip Hop moguls as parents like Angela Simmons, Egypt Criss and more.

Romeo told Maximo TV recently that while they are friends who “get closer every day,” there is a need for a “peacemaker” in the group. He gave that title to DJ Mizell, the son of the late RUN DMC star Jam Master Jay.

He added that he and Simmons have been friends for years. In fact, rumors swirled last year that the two were dating. And in a teaser for the upcoming season (see it below), she admits that the two have chemistry as they are spotted flirting with one another. No word on if they are actually dating now. Interestingly enough, he’s also seen getting close with Kristinia DeBarge. He said in the interview she is “the next Beyonce.”

“She’s a little superstar too.”

He said we’ll see his love life play out in front of cameras.

“You’ll see how I am in a relationship. I can’t give you everything, you gotta watch the show.”

“It’s just a great family,” he said of his co-stars.

He dubbed Egypt, whose parents are Pepa from Salt-N-Pepa and Treach from Naughty By Nature, the “princess” of the crew.

He added that doing the show has helped him get a new “respect” for reality stars.

“No matter what…Good or bad…they’re gonna catch it,” he said of cameras following him around.
