There is no doubt that 2016 has definitely been a very difficult year for the entire Duggar family. After having to go through Josh Duggar's multiple sex scandals from this past summer, a new report says that the family is about to be rocked to the core once again as one family member is filing for divorce to leave her tumultuous marriage.

According to OK! Magazine on Wednesday, Amy Duggar's parents Deanna Duggar and Terry Jordan are pulling the cord on their marriage as the soon-to-be ex-couple fired for divorce just before Christmas. Sources say that Terry simply couldn't take his wife's "intolerable" treatment any longer as they have been living on-and-off again for the past nine years.

"The Defendant has treated the Plaintiff with such indignities as to render his condition in life intolerable," attorney Elizabeth Finocchi said in the Washington County Circuit Court papers in Arkansas.

What's more, back in 1992, Jim Bob Duggar's older sister filed a restraining order against his husband after he supposedly threatened to kill her and her unborn baby. Their daughter Amy was only 5 years old at the time.

So far, a rep for the Duggars have not made any comments about the report. The family is still trying to hold on to their celebrity status even though their reality television show, 19 Kids & Counting, was given the axe by TLC last summer.
