It looks like there's a good reason why Rob Kardashian has been out of the spotlight for so long: A new report that says Kim Kardashian's younger brother has been hospitalized after having a major health scare this past weekend.

Apparently, the 28-year-old has been diagnosed with diabetes after battling with his fluctuating weight for years now. Fans first noticed his weight gain back in 2013 after he cut out the majority of his family members from his life. He also quit appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians that same year, too.

"He's home already. He went for a little and is fine now. It was a wake up call," a source told E! News. Medical professionals have also told the former sock designer that he needs to change his diet and get back in shape to avoid another future health scare similar to what he experienced this weekend.

What's more, insiders say that his blood sugar is still high, even though Rob supposedly hired a personal chef back in August.

"For the first time in a long time, Rob is committed to changing his diet habits," the tipster said, adding that he is ditching his current lifestyle for a more healthier one so he can get his life back on track.

So far a rep for the Kardashians has not made any comments about the hospitalization. Stay tuned with Enstars for all the latest updates.
