Bill Cosby Rape Accusations: Actor Officially Charged With Three Counts Of Sexual Assault From 2004 Incident [VIDEO
After a year of alleged rape victims coming forward to share their stories of being assaulted, Bill Cosby has officially been slapped with criminal charges in relation to one of his victim's accounts.
In a press conference earlier this morning, the Montgomery County, PA District Attorney, Kevin Steele, announced that three charges of "aggravated indecent assault" were filed against Cosby for an alleged rape that took place back in 2004, with many speculating it is in reference to the claims made by former Temple University basketball player Andrea Constand.

Constand's civil case against Cosby back in 2005 is the one where Cosby gave a deposition stating he had drugged women with quaaludes in order to have sex with them.
These are the first criminal charges filed against Cosby after dozens of victims began coming forward late last year to detail accounts of sexual assault at the hands of the actor best known as Dr. Huxtable on The Cosby Show.
Steele said that the charges were filed now to prevent the statute of limitations on the counts running out after 12 years. They would have been unable to file by sometime next month.
Cosby is expected to be arraigned later today. You can see the full charges here.
