Despite everyone around them pushing them to get back together, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Billy Miller) have been keeping their relationship strictly at the friendship level since he can't remember their life together, but that could all change when they wind up together on New Year's Eve on General Hospital.

Robin & Jason Are Finally Reunited

Whereas the year before saw the two ringing in the new year with decidedly different people, the estranged spouses will find themselves together at the Floating Rib for this year's New Year's celebrations. And things could get better for them as they reconnect while deciding to play a game of pool together.

"Do you know how good you are?" Sam asks him in a preview clip for the Wednesday, December 30 episode.

Jason's Fate Rests In Nikolas' Hands

As they prepare for their game, the two will also begin to flirt a bit more, as Sam reminds Jason that she too is good at pool, and her playfully accepts the challenge to go up agaonst her for a match.

However, the two could get carried away with their fun time, and before they know it, midnight could be quickly approaching. And when it does, they could be forced into an awkward predicament-where they're forced to share a New Year's Kiss together, despite the awkward tensions between them since their past is still a mystery to Jason.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
