Jessica Simpson Pregnant: Goes Shopping With Cacee Cobb for Baby Clothes
We first became acquainted with Cacee Cobb as Jessica Simpson’s whimsical sidekick on the MTV reality show Newlyweds which starred Simpson’s former husband, Nick Lachey. Years have since passed and now the BFFs are both pregnant and shopping for bibs and pacifiers together. Cobb’s new husband, actor Donald Faison, 38, spilled all the maternal details to People.
“Imagine if you and your best friend were pregnant at the same time – Cacee’s loving it,” he told the magazine.
“They hang out all the time anyway, but now they hang out and talk baby stuff, look at baby stuff online, and go shopping for baby stuff together”, the Scrubs star said.
Faison is currently starring on the TV Land sitcom, Exes about three divorced men who live in one apartment across the hall from their female divorce attorney.
After a sixteen month long engagement, Cobb and Faison tied the knot on Dec. 15, 2012 at Zac Braff’s home in Los Angeles. Simpson naturally stepped into position as a bridesmaid and wore a black dress and carried red roses down the aisle. Braff served as a groomsman during the ceremony.
The couple announced that they were expecting their first child on Jan. 31. Cobb posted a photo of a baby blue romper onto her Instagram page further confirming the news. Since it is Simpson's second time around, the singer is helping Cobb get into the groove of motherhood.
Faison said his wife has been hit with the brunt of morning sickness, but handles the illness like a champ.
“You think when you get pregnant, it’s going to be glitz and glamour and everything’s going to be wonderful, but they don’t tell you about the morning sickness, they don’t tell you about the constipation and being uncomfortable.”
Simpson who gave birth to daughter, Maxwell Drew on May 1, 2012 is looking for a bigger home to prepare for her new baby due later this year. The “Fashion Star” judge has her eye on Sharon Osbourne’s 11,000 square foot mansion currently on the market for $13 Million.
A source told Us Weekly that the Simpson and her fiancé, Eric Johnson have already viewed the house and want to transform Obsbourne’s huge walk-in closet into a nursery for the new baby.
