The latest image to surface from the set was a festive one for Christmas. The cast including Mariska Hargitay, who plays Olivia Benson, Kelli Giddish, who portarys Amanda Rollins, Raul Esparza, who plays Rafael Barba, and Peter Scanvino as Dominick Carisi Jr.:

Previously, we got a very happy in arms image with Peter Gallagher in uniform as Deputy Chief William Dodds and Hargitay.

Recently, an in interview with TVGuide, showrunner Warren Leight dished about the next episode, which is set to air in the new year. Leight really amped up the hype, stating that the rest of the season is going to start off with a bang.

"We're going to start off the year new, for people who worry about Olivia, with the scariest episode of the season," Leight said. "We haven't quite gone this far with her since the William Lewis [Pablo Schreiber] stuff."
