Selena Gomez's Mystery Man After Breakup With Justin Bieber; Pictures from Grammys After Party
Selena Gomez's mystery man has the Internet buzzing after her public breakup with Justin Bieber not too long ago.
Gomez was photographed with a new man at Grammy Awards party on Feb. 10, which led to rumors that she had moved on and was dating a new guy.
However, the guy claimed to be an old friend of Gomez's named Alfredo Flores, according to E! Online, which also posted pictures of Gomez holding on to Flores' arm.
The two were spotted walking together at the Warner Music Group/InStyle Grammy after party at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. They were also photographed on the beach in Malibu in July of 2012 at Ashley Tisdale's birthday party, according to ABC.
"He's just a friend. She's known him since before dating Justin," a source told E!
Flores is also reportedly friends with Bieber.
Gomez and Bieber ended their relationship in November after being together for a little over a year. Bieber released a song entitled Nothing Like Us in January about their breakup.
"At the end of the day, there's nothing like us, you know? That's just it. It is what it is. People are going to relate to that," Bieber told Billboard when talking about the song.
When asked if he's heartbroken, Bieber told the magazine, "I'm not in the happiest place that I've ever been. I'm trying to get through what I'm going through ... [but] I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going."
And as for any regrets over the last year, Bieber said: "I don't have any regrets. I live and I learn. My mom says, "You got to learn the hard way, don't you?" That's me. I learn the hard way. But it's about how I pick myself up and be better and stronger."
Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallette, dished on the Today Show her views on Bieber and Gomez's relationship.
"It's tough letting go and letting our kids make the mistakes that I make," Mallette said. "I just support whatever he's wanting and I think she's a sweetheart and whatever they decide, it's great."
"Hopefully he's learned from some of my mistakes," she added.
