Jodi Arias Trial Live Stream: Week 2 Defense Strategy & Travis Alexander Sex Tape Played (WATCH COURT ONLINE)
The second week of the murder trial of Jodi Arias, accused of killing her ex-lover Travis Alexander, included the playing of a sexually-charged recorded phone conversation between the pair.
On Tuesday, Maricopa County Judge Sherry Stephens warned the gallery that a sexually explicit recording will be played and if there was anyone that may take offense to it, they should leave immediately, according to HLNTV. In previous hearings, members of the victim had exited the courtroom when explicit photos of Arias and Alexander were displayed by prosecutors.
The recorded conversation became sexually explicit when Arias mentioned that Alexander grabbed her butt in front of someone. Alexander replied it was because she knew how to work that "booty." In the recording, Arias complimented him for their three-hour lovemaking sessions. She said he has "incredible stamina," that "roleplaying" was fun and she liked being "handled."
"You have the most incredible stamina that I have ever, ever even dreamed of encountering. It's crazy," Arias said on tape.
"Your butt has gotten more attention than any woman on the face of the earth," replied Alexander.
Alexander told her she is pretty and photogenic and then "you have been miserable, and I still raped you."
After Arias reminded him of a time he ripped her shorts off and performed oral sex on her, she said "you are so full of ideas."
Arias told Alexander in the recording that he was "debasing" her because he said he wanted to tie her to a tree and "stick it all the way in," but that she was pretty much "game" for everything he thought of. She then switched the topic to their Mormon faith.
"This is kind of an awkward subject to bring up. But, eventually we're both going to marry people. And I just get the feeling that they aren't a lot of Mormon guys like that. I'm sure there are a lot of freaky Mormon girls, but are they the marrying type?" Arias asked him.
Alexander never answered the question, instead the conversation became X-rated. The pair begin tell each other that they both are masturbating over the phone.
Afterward, Alexander told her he would like to see a picture of him ejaculating in her face, she told him he made her "feel like a goddess" after he made the statement.
"You were amazing. You made me feel like a goddess," Arias told him. "I wouldn't say you were like worshiping me. But, you were...you made me feel like I was the most freaking beautiful woman on the whole planet. I so felt like I was the goddess."
Alexander said he would like them to film their lovemaking sessions, to make "legitimate" porn. When Arias replied "you're bad, you make me feel so dirty," she began to cry in the courtroom while on the witness stand.
The racy recorded conversation took place in May of 2008 - less than a month before Arias murdered Alexander, which she admitted to.
Arias stands accused of murdering Alexander in his Mesa, Ariz., home on June 4, 2008. When police found the victim, they saw that he had been shot in the face, stabbed 27 times and his throat was slit from ear to ear. Arias lied at first, and said he was killed during a home invasion and later admitted she killed Alexander as an act of self-defense.
If Arias is convicted of the murder she will likely face the death penalty, becoming the fourth woman in Arizona's history to die by lethal injection.
