Apollo Nida is well into his sentence and his wife, Phaedra Parks, explains why she has yet to pull the plug on their marriage.

Nida is serving an eight year sentence after he pleaded guilty to several fraud charges last year. Interestingly enough, Parks was by his side until his plea as she took it as his way of admitting to the allegations. But while she filed for divorce she has yet to finalize it after the two had lots of drama that played out on the show.
She told OK Magazine this week, “I still love my husband and I’ll always love him. He’s the father of my children, and something great came from our union.”

The couple has two children, two-year-old Dylan and Ayden, 5. They haven’t gone to see their father yet in prison. But Parks is not quite ready to end their marriage.
“I think everything happens in its perfect season and its perfect time and bad things happen to great people. Good things happen to bad people. But I think love conquers all, and so I think it’s a possibility.”
She added that her experience with Nida has not “tainted” her view on being in love or in a romantic relationship.
“I’m very optimistic. I think love is a beautiful thing. I believe in love – I always believe in love.”
Still, she has a new lifestyle like that of a single mother with Nida being away. She said that she has gotten lots of help from her family.
