'50 Shades of Grey' Movie: Would Emma Roberts Make The Perfect Ana, Since She's Down For 'Anything Racy, Hot"?
Chatter in regards to who will ultimately play Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey continues to dominate the Internet. While many household names such as former Gilmore Girls Alexis Bledel and Twilight's Kristen Stewart dominate the buzz, there are a few notable names that have seemingly gotten lost in the shuffle.
One of the actresses who very clearly has all the attributes to pull off the role of a lifetime as the shy, college graduate is Emma Roberts of Scream 4.
At a New York City event last year, the easy on the eyes nephew of Julia Roberts, who has made a name for herself on the independent movie scene, had told MTV News that while she wasn't too familiar with the saucy reads at the time, the highly anticipated part was one that she would be game for.
"Everyone says read 'Fifty Shades of Grey.' I don't really understand. But everyone on the plane was reading it, and I was like, 'I should probably just get it. I haven't read it, I don't even understand, but yeah, it sounds awesome. Anything racy, hot. Sure, let's get hot."
Roberts, 22, could make the perfect Steele, as she already has the dark mane to match, the innocent looks and is also around the same age.
The Ana character is described as a 21-year-old virgin who is very quiet. She eventually agrees to the S&M-crazed billionaire Christian Grey's submissive ways.
Other notable actresses who fans have mentioned lately as potential candidates for the Steele role include Nina Dobrev of Vampire Diaries and Lucy Hale of Pretty Little Liars.
Up until this point, author E.L. James and the producers of the Fifty Shades film have remained coy on how the casting process will ultimately unfold. Only time will tell who lands the coveted role of the college graduate-turned Red Room of Pain participant.
