'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Felicity's Father To Appear In Upcoming Episodes [VIDEO]
International Business Times reports that Felicity's (Emily Bett Rickards) father, AKA the Calculator, will be coming to Starling City in season 4 of Arrow.
Actor Playing DC Comics Villain The Calculator Revealed
It had been previously revealed that the Calculator will be joining the show, but we didn't know that he is Felicity's father. The report reveals that the character Noah Kutter, to be played Tom Amandes, is her father.
It also suggests that the Calculator will put to use his Internet expertise--which Felicity inherited from him. In fact, the report also hints at the possibility that Felicity might be alive in season 4 as her father steps in.
Vandal To Be Resurrected In Upcoming Episodes?
In other intense speculation surrounding a fatally wounded Felicity, a TVLine report has really put a big spin on a mysterious suggestion in the preview for the midseason premiere of Arrow.
In the second teaser for the return of season 4, Thea (Willa Holland) is seen telling Oliver (Stephen Amell) that the doctors won't tell her what's wrong with Felicity, who is under intensive care at the hospital after being shot by Damien Darhk (Neal McDonnough).
The report speculates that one of the possibilities could be that Felicity is pregnant with Oliver's child. Such a development would put a major twist in the plot and only amp up the stakes for Oliver on the show.
This new teaser has a few bits from the first preview for the episode that was previously revealed--like sharing the last frame where Oliver is seen kneeling by a grave, vowing revenge.
There have been various alternative theories about who might be in the grave, and opposing what's suggested in the clip, reports suggest that Felicity is not the person in the grave.
A TVLine report is more discerning and points out how misleading the teaser can be. According to the piece Oliver's voiceover, where he talks about avenging someone's death is from earlier footage. The report also adds the six months have yet to pass on the show. In fact, the piece also offers other candidates for people in the grave.
"Blood Debts" will air on January 20 on The CW.
