2-Year-Old Girl Adopts A 3-Legged Kitten. Creates A Special Bond With Her Pet!
Scarlette and her newly adopted kitten "Doc" are both adorable and both need/deserve love and attention. Although Scarlette have her parents and brother's love and affection, having Doc as a pet is something different.
2-year-old Scarlette is an amputee. She was born with her left arm larger than her right arm. She has what the doctors call a "precurser" in her body that mutates into cancer, which led to the amputation of her left arm and shoulder when she was just 10 months old.
Doc or "Holly," as what the shelter calls her, is also an amputee. She came into the shelter with a severe injury and they thought she wasn't going to survive after surgery and medical treatment.
So when Scarlette's parents decided to adopt a pet for her, they saw that Doc was the perfect companion.
Both have similar experiences, and because of it, it gave them that special bond.
