'Call The Midwife' Actress Reveals Something She 'Can't Believe'

Released on New Year's Day, the promo starts off with some bike riding and babies being born. In fact, a lot of it looks happy and bright, which is a little different from what the series typically brings. While there are usually moments of smiles, it also comes with tears that may stem from something good or bad.

There will be some misfortunes taking place when a baby apparently gets taken away, causing the mother to demand to see her.

Then there's Trixie who's putting on some dance moves as she explores what her body can do. But others may not approve of this.

Meanwhile, Helen George (Trixie) has been busy juggling this show and her dance abilities on competition Strictly Come Dancing. In an interview with Express, she opened up on how challenging it's been to work with so much.

"Managing my time around both shows, and fitting in learning lines and getting enough sleep, has been difficult," George said. "I need to retain all of that information in my head and I want to give both the very best I can. I'm quite a competitive person, but mostly with myself. I demand a lot from me which isn't always great and I can be my own worst enemy."

Call the Midwife is expected to premiere in the United States on Sunday, April 3 on PBS.
