Emma Watson, reveals Saturday, Jan. 2, in support of the cast to play the adult version of Hermoine Granger in the new Harry Potter play.

Watson took to her Twitter account about the casting of Noma Dumezweni as adult Hermione in the new play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, of which she is very excited about.

"Can't wait to see Noma Dumezweni as Hermione on stage this year," the British actress tweeted with heart emojis and a hashtag that says, "#HarryPotterAndTheCursedChild."

It was just announced last month that Dumezweni had been casted as the new adult Hermione Granger in the upcoming London theatrical production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Moreover, Watson was not the only celebrity who supported Dumezweni in her new role, but the author and creator of Harry Potter herself, J.K. Rowling took to Twitter to express her support for the decision to cast Dumezweni for the role.

"Canon: Brown eyes, frizzy hair and very clever," the author wrote. "White skin was never specified. Rowling loves black Hermione.”
