Ryan Reynolds' Punch To Co-Star Scott Speedman In New Film
Ryan Reynolds was photographed on Tuesday punching his co-star Scott Speedman on the set of a new movie, but all part of a scene the actors were filming in Sudbury, Canada.
Reynolds, who stars in the upcoming movie Queen of the Night, plays a man whose daughter is supposedly dead but he receive clues that she may be still alive. The action-packed movie directed by Atom Egoyan also stars Rosario Dawson.
Dawson plays the detective responsible for the investigation into the girl's possible death or disappearance. Speedman's role, however, is not clear. He is the "guy who gets punched by Ryan Reynolds," according to the Inquistr, which also featured the photo in its story. In the image released by the film's studio, Speedman is seen falling to the ground while Reynolds follows through with a punch.
"Hopefully, though, Mr. Reynolds put his stunt-fighting skills to good use," E! News reported. "We can't have him damaging Speedman's powerful good looks!"
Reynolds tied the knot in September to 25-year-old actress Blake Lively and they were spotted spending quality time in Canada together. The pair was photographed leaving the Artisan Bakery after reportedly treating themselves to a brunch. Shortly after, Lively joined Ryan on the film's set. They were also spotted going into a movie theater together, dressed warmly for the Canada freezing temperatures.
The Gossip Girl actress is currently taking some time off, and doesn't have any acting projects coming up for 2013, according to IMDb. Reynolds is filming at least three movies expected to be released in 2013.
Excited about his new project, Reynolds took to Facebook to post this message: "In Sudbury, Ontario. Preparing to start filming Queen of The Night here. #WorkAgain ;)"
Reynolds's action packed thriller will hit theaters in 2014.
