Her inspirational views have only continued to bloom in 2016! On Twitter Saturday, a trending hashtag called "#IWantWhatICantHave" rubbed Madison the wrong way.
"I'm not a fan," the young star dished, adding, "Let's be thankful for what we have & be positive this 2016."
This prompted her to start a new hashtag called "IWantWhatIHave" that easily spurred happier notions from the millions of people on Twitter. Madison continued to spread her upbeat attitude about life by sharing: "YOU are capable of anything."
You of course need to put in the work to make it all happen, but she definitely is a dreamer and believer and that's not a bad thing!
The initial hashtag she didn't care for inspired a new Tumblr post from the actress, which you can read in depth here.
"I always wait to post until I have something to talk about that truly touches my heart. Tonight I found that," she divulged in the opening of the post, which is called we CAN. be KIND.
The teen admitted that she realized something quite big in regard to the change in the hashtag.
"We, as a generation, control what trends on social media. We control what we put out there, and we control what we engage in. I'm hoping that the next time we see something trending that is not positive, we remember that we can change it," she shared, explaining, "We have the tools to reach out to those we may or may not know, and tell them that they are worthy of having all of their dreams and wishes come true. That even though we may not be able to physically reach out and hug them, we are still able to do something about it, and use the Internet to inspire, encourage, and spread positivity."
There was some negativity, too, which the 16-year-old also addressed. It mainly focused on the fact that the actress must have a perfect life, so it is easy for her to focus on the positive.
Madison gave every single hater a newsflash: "People assume that because I do what I do, the world is 100% perfect for me. Well, can we be real? Nobody's life is 100% perfect."
She reiterated that "Words DO hurt" like she has in the past and then shared six tips on how to ignore "mean" tweets, comments and texts.
First off, it's important to remember, "You're amazing." It may sound silly, but Madison has a point, which leads to her second tip, which is "You are in control of your happiness- not them."
It's important not to let others dictate your happiness no matter what.
Next, the young star revealed that everyone is "loved," in fact they're "so very loved," so never feel like you're worthless despite possibly receiving some nasty tweets, comments or texts by people you know or don't know.
Fourth in Madison's list of tips to combat this kind of negativity is: "You have the power to turn a situation around for the better."
That leads to her next point of responding to negativity "with kindness," which is easily a challenge, but can be done.
Finally, she made it clear that even rough circumstances are something you should be content with, since they help you grow as a person.
"And let's be thankful for everything that happens. Even when we go through hard times," she stated.
"I've been repeating those 6 tips to myself all night. They have helped me, and I hope they will help you if there ever comes a time that you need them," the actress concluded.
