You would think she would document her fabulous vacation like so many other social media users did this holiday season, but the singer didn't--and she has a good reason, too.

"Left my phone behind to be present!" she gushed in the caption of a picture she shared Saturday of herself with a bunch of her gal pals.

"I am so grateful for the people I've met this year but more importantly for the people who have been consistent and by my side through thick and thin. That'd be YOU. Thank you for another year! Love you guys!" she also mentioned as she closed out 2015 and opened up to 2016.

While it is kind of a bummer Gomez didn't share loads of vacation pictures, it's okay since her friends did.

Raquelle Stevens shared an adorable snap of all the girls together on New Year's Eve, looking fabulous in their slightly dressy attire.
