Like her sister, Pippa Middleton is in midst of a photo scandal after the Italian magazine Chi published images of her with a mysterious man.

Pippa joined her sister, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William on the Caribbean island of Mustique for a vacation and was photographed holding hands with a male companion. Chi magazine printed the photos in their latest issue out on newsstands Wednesday, along with pictures of Kate in a bikini showing off her baby bump while on the beach with Prince William.

Images showed Pippa in a orange and pink-stripped bikini holding hands with a brown-haired man while walking on the beach, according to Daily Mail. In the photos, Pippa is smiling up at the unidentified man, who wore black patterned swin shorts and sunglasses.

Chi magazine claimed the images showed Pippa with her "boyfriend" James Matthews, a businessman she is rumored to be dating. However, sources close to Matthews, 37, denied it was him in the photographs - Matthews was said to be in his London office the day the photos were taken.

A spokesperson for St. James Palace said Tuesday the royal family was "disappointed" photographers would take, and that publications would print, private photos of the Kate and her husband, especially ones of the Duchess of Cambridge in a bikini flaunting her pregnant belly.

A royal spokesperson said the photos were "a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy."

"We are disappointed that photographs of the duke and duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas. This is a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy," a spokesperson for St James's Palace added.

The magazine's editor on Wednesday defended the decision to publish photos of a pregnant Kate, saying the images are not a breach of the couple's privacy since they were taken in a public space. The photos of Kate were later displayed on a television morning show and the U.S. publication Star ran the photos in its latest issue.
