According to a new report, the couple is planning to elope, but unfortunately, their secret wedding was being ruined by Holmes' ex-husband Tom Cruise's plan to demand custody of their 9-year-old daughter, Suri.
"Katie Shocker: Secret Wedding Ruined," reads the cover of the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, also revealing a "new custody battle as Tom doesn't want another man raising Suri."
“[Tom] is planning to make a big effort [to spend more time with Suri],” a source told the magazine, according to a report by Hollywood Life on Wednesday. “Tom has the money and the legal clout to re-enter his daughter’s life in a big way. If he wants to play a larger role in Suri’s life with more custody rights, there’s no deterring him.”
“He’s been fine with Katie raising Suri as a single parent. There’s no way he’s going to sit still and let another man — especially Jamie — raise his daughter,” added the source.
However, while Holmes and Foxx have been linked to one another for years, Gossip Cop confirmed on Wednesday that they were not planning a wedding.
“The entire story is 100 percent untrue,” a rep for Holmes told the site.
Additionally, a rep for Foxx said their alleged plans for a wedding were “completely false.”
