Meghan Trainor Music News: Singer ‘Still In Shock’ Over People’s Choice Win For ‘Favorite Album’ [PHOTOS, VIDEO]
Meghan Trainor, like many other celebrities, attended the People's Choice Awards Wednesday night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The Nantucket native was up for "Favorite Album" with her smash success Title that released last January. Trainor had some serious competition in this category, facing off against Fall Out Boy's American Beauty / American Psycho, The Weeknd's Beauty Behind the Madness, Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late and Imagine Dragons' Smoke + Mirrors.
The 22-year-old, who was the only female in the running, managed to pull off a win and is incredibly surprised by the outcome!
"I just want to say I'm the biggest fan of everyone in this category," Trainor said during her acceptance speech, adding, "I can't believe I was even nominated."
