In an interview on Oprah's Next Chapter, the pop superstar, wife and new mom told Oprah that she gained a total of 57 pounds while she was pregnant with Blue Ivy. She also discussed how she "really wanted to know" if becoming a mother would affect her ability to perform.

Beyoncé revealed that she began performing on stage again just three months after giving birth to her daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé gave the performance of her career on Feb. 3 during the coveted halftime slot at this year's Super Bowl in New Orleans. Her electric ten-plus minute long not only included a medley of songs like Crazy in Love and Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It). It also incorporated both clever video imaging and tough choreography that the artist is known for. The big game thanks in part to Beyoncé's halftime show brought in an estimated 108 million viewers, according to NOLA.com.

"I feel so fortunate to do my job," said Beyoncé. "I love my job. I love the singing, I love the way it feels."

While the halftime performance definitely showed off the singer's toned, post-baby physique, where she wore a revealing leather jumpsuit designed by Rubin Singer, Beyoncé covered up quite a bit with her black-and-crème jumpsuit from London-based designer Osman at this year's Grammys on Feb. 10.

The interview with Oprah will mark the artist's first sit-down interview since her halftime show performance. Beyoncé will discuss with Oprah her rise to stardom, her relationship with rap mogul Jay-Z, whom she married in 2008, and details about the arrival of the singer's daughter four years later, in January 2012.

To see the singer's entire interview, be sure to watch Oprah's Next Chapter on OWN, tomorrow night, February 16, at 8:00PM.
