Charlie Sheen Update: Actor Seeks Emotional Help From TV Host In HIV Battle [VIDEO]
After announcing that he’s HIV positive, Charlie Sheen turns to Dr. Oz for emotional support.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the Two and a Half Men actor started a mentoring relationship with the surgeon when he was spotted outside the star’s New York hotel right after Sheen’s revelation on Today’s show.
"Like all of us, Charlie is looking for answers in his own life and making peace with what he's going through," Dr. Oz told ET. "That's a difficult voyage."

Apparently, the surgeon and television personality isn’t on the job to treat Sheen, but his on his way to heal and help the actor emotionally in fighting issues with HIV.
"This disease chose the wrong person," Sheen says in a clip from his episode of The Dr. Oz Show, airing next week.

Dr. Oz also added that the 50-year-old actor’s health will be an ongoing battle. Doctors have already warned him of his health, as a result he has given up alcohol and more of yoga.
"He made mistakes," Dr. Oz said. "He has a unique ability to bounce back from just about anything."
