Chris Brown and Drake can't be in the same club at the same time, apparently. According to TMZ, Drake was turned away at the door of a Hollywood nightclub because Brown was already inside.

Sources told TMZ, Drake and Brown both showed up at the Playhouse in Hollywood Wednesday night. Brown was already partying at a table inside, and Drake showed up after. Security guards told Drake to leave because they wanted to avoid any possible altercations that could have occurred.

According to sources, Brown was inside the club celebrating an anniversary party for Popular Demand, a Los Angeles clothing brand.

The bouncers were already aware that Chris was in the club inside when Drake arrived at midnight, and assumed Rihanna would be joining him later. In order to resolve the issue beforehand, the promoters pleaded with Drake to party elsewhere.

Sources also said that Drake handled the rejection well, and left without any issues.

TMZ reported the promoters obviously wanted to avoid a repeat of the infamous Brown at W.i.P. nightclub last summer, that featured both Chris and Drake's entourage throwing liquor bottles, and an NBA player catching glass in an eye.

Speaking of the NYC brawl, both Drake and Brown are suing each other in hopes of convincing a judge to put the blame on the other, according to TMZ. The site claimed to have obtained legal documents filed by the two, in which they ask the judge to put blame on the other for the fight. A French model named Romain Julien is also suing both artists and the nightclub, claiming he severed a tendon in his right hand, as well as lacerations from a broken glass.
