Matthew Morrison, of Glee fame, will be joining the cast of season 7 of The Good Wife in a recurring role, according to a TVLine report.

Could Hillary Clinton Guest Star In An Upcoming Episode?

Fans will get to see Morrison in the upcoming episodes of season 7. The report reveals that he will be playing the part of Connor Fox, "an assistant U.S. attorney who is responsible for putting the last four Illinois governors behind bars. Described as a tough and smart guy, Connor doesn't exactly warm to the Florricks upon meeting them."

This might be stretch, but we wonder is Fox's foxy looks might draw Alicia (Julianna Margulies) in, even though she is still trying to come to grips with her attraction toward Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). But then, if he targets Peter (Chris Noth), it will make such a situation very unlikely. But if anyone's listening, we think Morrison offers prospects for a delicious pairing.

Chances Of CBS Legal Drama's Renewal Look Slim

Meanwhile, Alicia is already going to be on some sort of warpath against Eli (Alan Cumming) in the second half of season 7 which is set to premiere soon. In the preview for the midseason premiere episode, Alicia is seen physically lashing out at Eli for having kept Will's (Josh Charles) voicemail from her years ago. And we get the feeling this is not the last of the manic behavior Eli (and probably any politically-motivated person) will see from her. So she might not probably be very averse to Fox.

Season 7 will return on January 10.
