During the couple's former reality show, LeAnn & Eddie, which aired on VH1 for one season, the couple discussed the idea of having a child, but have they finally put their future plan in motion? According to a new report, the answer is "yes!"

The 33-year-old country singer has been acting as step-mom to husband Cibrian's two children with Brandi Glanville, Mason, 12, and Jake, 8, since their April 2011 wedding, but now, according to the source, she's ready to welcome a child of her own. In fact, she's ready to do so in the next several months.
“[They] hope to have a child by the end of the year,” the source revealed.
Although Rimes has spoken often of her desire to have a child, she told In Touch Weekly last month that she wasn't quite ready.
“I have two kids in my house half the time, so I know what it takes to be a parent,” Rimes said. “I know my life will change – I just don’t know if I’m ready for that yet.”
