Selena Gomez and 'Spring Breakers' Cast in Paris Without Justin Bieber
With no Justin Bieber in sight, Selena Gomez and her fellow Spring Breakers costars enjoyed some time in Paris over the weekend where they were staying for the film's French premiere.
The 20-year-old threw a a heart shaped with her hands and waved to fans below her balcony at the Hotel Bristol in Paris on Saturday, according to E! News.
"Bonjour Paris. Spring break is here!," Gomez tweeted that day, along with a photo of her with Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson standing in front of the Paris skyline. The trio were also spotted shopping on Friday and enjoying dinner at L'Avenue restaurant, the report stated.
Spring Breakers, which will be released in theaters on March 22, is about four college students and friends on their spring break vacation, and the wild antics they get involved in. The film also stars James Franco.
Gomez is expected to star in a TV movie that will be released this year and has two films currently in post-production, according to IMDb. She is also working on released a new album in 2013 with the help of producers and songwriters Roc Mafia. She gave fans a look into her Los Angeles based studio through Twitter pictures she uploaded and revealed in one image that she was recording a "sad, sad serenade."
When Spring Breakers premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September of 2012, Gomez told reporters that she realized her role in the film is a provocative one, very different that the one she had as a Disney star in Wizards of Waverly Place.
"Obviously I know that coming from Disney Channel gives you kind of a brand in a way," Gomez, 20, told reporters. "People do put a label on you. I know that I have younger fans, and this is an opportunity for myself to kind of grow. It is a little shocking, I think, for the younger audiences ... but I think it was right for me."
