Heroic Cop Jumps Onto Moving Truck, Amazingly Saves Unconscious Driver
It's like a scene from the movies, jumping onto a moving car is no big deal. But in real life, it can be overly dangerous, even if the car isn’t moving that fast like in Fast & Furious.
In Nebraska, a local deputy were called because of a truck driving erratically. Madison County Deputy Todd Volk responded, and when he was on the job, Volk pulled up beside the truck and saw the driver was unconscious. Realizing something was terribly wrong, he sped up, got out of his car, and had just enough time to literally jump onto the side of the truck door and open it.
Volk was able to hit the brakes, and saved the life of the driver who was having a diabetic reaction.
