Lady Gaga Golden Globes 2016: Pop Star Wins First Award For 'American Horror Story,' Gives Heartfelt Speech [VIDEO]
Lady Gaga made a new accomplishment on Sunday night.

The pop star won her first Golden Globe for her role as the Countess on American Horror Story: Hotel. As she was up against Kirsten Dunst, Sarah Hay, Felicity Huffman and Queen Latifah, the music icon achieved a major award for her acting gig where she let out some tears when her name was announced.
When she graced the stage with her award, she gave a heartfelt speech to all her co-stars as well as series creator Ryan Murphy.

"Because of you I was able to shine," she said.
In a previous interview with Variety, Gaga opened up on how she's not like her character on the FX series despite what people may think.
"I find it funny that people wonder if that's just the way I really am, so this was very easy for me to just kind of walk in here with my blonde hair on and just be a b-tch and be rude to everyone and that's just what I do because you've seen me do something like that before," the pop icon said. "The truth is that it's actually very challenging to be sincere when you have all of that on. It's not comfortable. It's never been comfortable for me."
