Harry Styles and Taylor Swift Avoid Each Other at BRIT Award Rehearsals
Harry Styles and Taylor Swift are both preparing for the BRIT Awards set to take place this week in London but the two singers reportedly tried to avoid each other during rehearsals, with One Direction changing set schedules to avoid any conflict.
The plan was for Justin Timberlake, Muse, One Direction and Swift to practice together on Tuesday, according to Heat World, however 1D exchanged rehearsal times with Mumford & Sons to prevent any drama that may take place when Styles and Swift see each other.
"It was a bit of an oversight to say the least. The original plans were drawn up a while back when Harry and Taylor bumping into each other wouldn't have been an issue," a source told The Sun. "But they're had a bit of a rethink now. Mumford & Sons were meant to be rehearsing on the Monday with Robbie Williams, Emeli Sande and Ben Howard, but they were happy to switch."
The British band and Swift are both scheduled to perform at the BRIT Awards on Feb. 20. Swift is nominated in the category of Best International Female Solo Artist, alongside Rihanna and Lana Del Rey. One Direction received a nomination for Best British Group.
Swift and Styles have not been spotted together since they broke up in early January reportedly following a heated dispute they had while vacationing together on the Virgin Islands. Styles did not attend the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, which Swift headlined with a performance of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, but Styles did sit front row at the the NRJ Music Awards in France in late January, where Swift performed the same song as Styles looked on.
In a recent radio interview, Styles opened up for the first time about his breakup and said "I'm OK...I'm good." He also addressed rumors of Swift mocking him during her Grammys performance and the amount of attention the media gave to his split from the singer.
The BRIT Awards airs live exclusively on ITV 1.
