'Nashville' Actor Will Make 'As Much Headway' As He Can
While it's too soon to tell at this point, Entertainment Weekly gave the impression that the ABC series may indeed stick around a little longer. As the fourth year comes to a close, there is a good possibility the music and drama won't stop there.
"We don't have any plans to finish Nashville," network boss Paul Lee said at the Television Critics Associations' press tour over the weekend. "We have an incredibly passionate audience. The Nashville audience grows by a large amount in our delay viewings. No, at this point, no plans for Nashville other than to keep it going."

While that might be good news, another thing that fans can expect is the return of Hayden Panettiere to continue her role as Juliette Barnes. According to E! News, the actress will return in an episode expected to air this April after taking time off for health reasons.
Jonathan Jackson, who plays Avery on the show, mentioned how happy he and everyone else is to welcome Panettiere back on set.
"I think she seems to be doing really well, and obviously all of us are very excited for her to come back when it's time," Jackson said. "But I'm also really grateful that she's taking the time that she needs, and I think that that's really a wonderful example for people."
Nashville returns to ABC with new episodes on Wednesday, March 16 at 10 p.m. ET.
