Now that Teresa Giudice of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey is a free woman she is preparing for what life will be like when her husband, Joe Giudice, begins his sentence in just a couple of weeks.
Teresa Giudice Still Owes IRS How Much?!
The couple pleaded guilty to several fraud charges and Teresa has done her time. But now it’s Joe’s turn. He was sentenced to more than three years behind bars in a New Jersey federal prison.
Since he’ll be so close, Teresa plans to visit pretty frequently.
‘Skinnier’ Teresa Giudice Spotted For The First Time
“Teresa doesn’t want there to be any delay in seeing Joe from the time he begins serving,” an insider said this week.
Still, it’s no secret it’ll be an adjustment.
“Those first few weeks were very, very hard for Teresa. The phone calls home helped, but Teresa couldn’t see Joe or the kids for weeks because of protocol, and she wants his transition to be as smooth as possible.”
But they’re not concerned that his long time away will but a dent in their marriage.
“Their relationship is rock solid and they are closer than ever.”
They also shut down reports that Teresa has hopes of entering the restaurant business.
“Absolutely not true. It hasn’t even been brought up.”
There was also speculation that Joe was cheating on Teresa during her stint in jail. She served less than a year but is on house arrest for the remainder of her sentence. Word is Joe could be deported back to Italy after his sentence.
