David Bowie Tribute: Smash Mouth Honors Late Icon With 'Under Pressure' Cover & People Are Finding It To Be Pretty Bad [AUDIO]
The world is in mourning after David Bowie's shocking death from cancer at the age of 69, which occurred over the weekend, but a really bad tribute has popped up that has captured the attention of many.
Remember the band Smash Mouth from the 90s? The ones who are best known for their song "All Star" and cover tracks of the Monkees' "I'm a Believer" and Question Mark and The Mysterians' "Can't Get Enough of You Baby?"
Well, they're still around. And they decided to post a tribute to Bowie, a theoretically sweet way to honor the iconic artist.
Except that the song they covered was "Under Pressure"--which is actually a Queen song Bowie contributed to. And most on Twitter are not liking how the song sounds either:
