Lisa Rinna is reportedly in production on an upcoming talk show, and according to a new report, the former soap star's latest project may take the spot of Meredith Vieira's recently canceled talk show, The Meredith Vieira Show.

Did 'RHOBH' Star Lisa Rinna Defend Her Comments About Yolanda Foster On Twitter?

Although the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's project has yet to be confirmed, a source claimed the show “could be a Meredith replacement."

"They were considering a panel format for Meredith’s show, but it didn’t work," a source told Page Six last week. "They could always move the news.”

However, a source close to NBC said of Rinna's talk show, “Nothing has been green-lit or sold to a launch station group . . . Saying any rumored development project will launch as a replacement for Meredith is simply untrue.”

Added an NBC rep, “We cannot comment on development projects.”

Rinna broke news of the show during an appearance on Heather Dubrow World weeks ago.

At the time, Rinna said, “It’s just going to be fun, because you know I love to talk. What do I love more than fashion? Pop culture. Are you kidding me? I, like, died and went to heaven. I tested for this thing with so many different people, and it was the most fun.”

For more Lisa Rinna, tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six, airing this and every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
