George And Amal Clooney Update: Couple’s Multi-Million Dollar Mansion In England At Risk? [VIDEO]
It looks like George and Amal Clooney are not starting off the new year on the right foot. A new report says their multi-million dollar mansion in Berkshire, England might be at risk as their garden has been flooded due to the high tides coming from the nearby River Thames in London.
According to the Telegraph on Wednesday, there's a good chance that George and Amal are going to have to make an emergency trip to their newly renovated home after the River Thames burst its banks, sending floodwater into the grounds of their home.
The site says that nearby homes in Sonning-on-Thames, Berkshire, were also under threat as the flood-swollen river topped its banks and the Environment Agency warned issued a flood warning for the village.
An Environment Agency spokesman said: "Levels on the River Thames at Reading have risen in response to recent rain. Showers on Monday may lead to flood water flowing out into low lying areas today."
The estate is currently being renovated to add a pool, pool house and a private cinema. There's also speculation that George might be leaving Hollywood behind to live full-time in England so his wife Amal can continue to work in London.
So far the couple has not made any comments about the flooding. Stay tuned with Enstars for all the latest updates right here.
