American Idol's final season's auditions are still airing on FOX, showcasing some serious talent!

Breathe, One Direction Apparently Really Isn't Over For Good!

Wednesday night, the auditions continued to air and the daughter of a pretty successful artist from the mid-'80s stood before the judging panel made up of Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr. in hopes of making to the Hollywood round.

Brenda K. Starr, known for her hit power ballad "I Still Believe," went with her 15-year-old daughter Gianna Isabella to the audition for moral support.

During the audition, Gianna Isabella introduced herself to the judges and then noted who her mom is, which instantly captured Lopez's attention since they attended the same dance studio years ago.

Plus, Mariah Carey used to sing backup for Brenda K. Starr, so Gianna Isabella is really proud to have her mom teaching her all about singing.

"I'm very inspired by my mom. I would have to say she's my idol so I just wanna show her that all her hard work of teaching me is paying off," Gianna Isabella said.

It totally worked out too! Gianna Isabella sang "The House of the Rising Sun," which impressed the judges.

Lopez then asked at the end of her audition if her mother happened to be there so one thing led to another and Brenda K. Starr joined the judges on their panel to present Gianna Isabella with her golden ticket to Hollywood.

"I would tell her that she made it cause she works so hard," Brenda K. Starr said of her daughter while welling up with tears.

It even seems as though Lopez formed some tears in her eyes since they appear glossy and she is seen wiping under one as Gianna Isabella and her mom leave the judging room.

American Idol's Twitter even declared, "The apple does not fall far from the tree!"

The teen from Jackson, New Jersey celebrated on Instagram by sharing a snap from her rejoining her other family members after she was given her ticket.
