She was sure that her arch-nemesis was up to no good when she came back to Salem, and now, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will be even more positive that Ava (Tamara Braun) is trying to destroy her family on Days of Our Lives.

Andre Becomes Suspicious Of Hope

Ava revealed she had come back to town to make amends for all the wrongdoing she'd done in the past because she was dying of cancer, and though her story was doubted, it appeared to check out thanks to her clever and cunning ways. However, her fake illness is now helping her execute the next part of her plan: convincing Steve (Stephen Nichols) that they once had a son who her father had sold on the Black Market and begging him for his help in finding him before she dies.

However, Kayla will begin to grow more suspicious of Ava following the story, and she'll decide to face off against her once again in an effort to get real answers about why she is back in Salem and what she genuinely wants.

Eric Feels Guilt Over His Actions

It appears Ava could be trying to find some way to break things off for Kayla and Steve for good by concocting her elaborate plan--which included using the couple's son, Joey (James Lastovic) to manipulate them into getting back together. But if Kayla continues to suspect there's more to Ava's story, her scheme could quickly begin to unravel.
