On Saturday, Express shared an interview with a few of the stars from the British series, one including Helen George (Trixie). She mentioned that while she'll continue her life in the best way she can, there's something deeper about who she is as a person rather than a former addict.
"Trixie goes the way of a lot of addicts, from one thing to another, almost to the point of obsession," George said about her character. "But the bigger story is about celebrating the female form in every shape and size that it comes in. It's about independence for women this series and about women finding their voice."

The site also gave the impression that Trixie's ex-fiance Tom might cause a little tension between Trixie and Barbara since there's a spark with Barbara that Trixie may have the misfortune of seeing right in front of her.
"She can't help but see him around," Charlotte Ritchie (Barbara) revealed. "And we left Barbara and Tom in a place where they're not together and don't know what's necessarily going to happen with Trixie and Tom. So this interesting hint at the end of episode one stirs things up a bit."
Call the Midwife Season 5 is expected to premiere in the United States on Sunday, April 3 on PBS.
