Justin Timberlake, 'SNL' Host For Fifth Time in March
In anticipation for his third solo album set to release next month, Justin Timberlake will host Saturday Night Live on March 9 for the fifth time, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The singer/actor will return to the late-night comedy sketch show and be both its host and musical guest 10 days before his album The 20/20 Experience will be released. The week before Timberlake, comedian Kevin Hart will host SNL with musical guest Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, the duo behind Thrift Shop.
The 20/20 Experience will be released March 19 on RCA Records. Timberlake already debuted two singles - Suit & Tie with Jay-Z and Mirrors, the latter of which he performed at the 2013 BRIT Awards on Wednesday. The singer has not released a studio album since Future Sex/Love Sounds in 2006.
Timberlake, 32, reportedly booked an entire week of appearances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon leading up to his album release. From March 11-15, the singer will perform each night on Fallon's show and talk with him on March 11 and March 15. Timberlake and Fallon are known to be close friends, with the comedian being one of the few celebrities to attend Timberlake's intimate Italy wedding to Jessica Biel in October of 2012.
Together they created the viral trilogy History if Rap and on SNL have a running skit called The Barry Gibb Talk Show.
Timberlake and Jay-Z will headline London's Wireless Festival this summer and are reportedly set to join forces for a 10-city stadium U.S. tour also this year. He is scheduled to perform with Beyonce in London in March before she heads out on her The Mrs. Carter Show world tour in April. The pair is expected to liven up the stage together at The Garage in Islington on March 31, according to The Sun.
