LeAnn Rimes News: Country Star Trying To Protect Husband Eddie Cibrian’s Ego? [VIDEO]
It looks like there's a good reason why LeAnn Rimes likes to brag about her "perfect" and "generous" husband all the time - apparently she's just trying to protect his ego. There's a new report that says Rimes wants everyone to think that Cibrian is the breadwinner of their household, even though he hasn't had a stable job in quite a few years.
According to Naughty Gossip on Monday, the country singer was apparently caught lying about a diamond ring that Cibrian supposedly bought for her during the holidays. It turns out that Rimes bought the ring and even designed it herself, yet insisted on telling her social media followers that the present came from her husband.
Apparently, this isn't the first time Rimes has done this and it probably won't be the last, either. Sources close to the former chart topper says all she's trying to do is making her husband feel like he's both wanted and appreciated in their marriage.
A source said, "LeAnn wants everyone to think that Eddie is more successful than he really is. She is the one with the money and there is nothing wrong with that. She is a huge singer star and has made a fortune. What is sad is when she tries to pretend Eddie is the man running the house, when it is really her. She does it to make him feel better."
The insider added, "It is important for Eddie that fans and the press think he is not being kept by LeAnn and her huge amount of money."
