There's no doubt that Jessica Simpson's family likes to stay close, but who knew they were this close? Her mother Tina Simpson recently shared a rather awkward if not appropriate photo with her son-in-law Eric Johnson on her Instagram account for her birthday on Monday.

In the post, Eric appears to have his head in his mother-in-law's private area while the two of them are lounging poolside at a resort in Mexico. Tina shared the pic on her social media account and captioned it simply with, "Son in law."
Many of her followers quickly commented on the photo with, "Weird photo. His head is in your privates," along with, "That looks so weird is right. Who puts there head in their mother in laws crotch. Lol I can't."

Another critic wrote, "Ummm. Wth? Tacky. That's really creepy and weird."
And while many celebrities don't bother to reply back to their followers, Tina wrote back with, "Weirder than you ... Yes thank God!"
So far Tina herself hasn't given any explanation over the photo and Jessica hasn't made any comments about it, too.
