On Monday, Celebuzz shared an interview with Gavin MacIntosh who plays Connor on the Freeform drama. When he was asked if viewers will be left with emotional feelings in new episodes, the actor said, "Definitely."
"A lot of drama going on," he added. "I can't really reveal what's going on, but stay tuned because it's gonna be pretty dramatic!"
What Else Can Be Expected For Brandon & Callie On 'The Fosters?'
The actor then discussed one of the most memorable- and surprisingly controversial- scenes in the show when Connor and Jude shared a kiss. MacIntosh opened up on how not only did this moment bring something positive for the LGBT community, but the heterosexual community as well.
"I think it's raised awareness," he said. "I mean, I'd say that most important thing that I can do with my role is bring positive light to this cause. A lot of kids have no idea as to what kind of struggles that LGBT kids go through everyday, just going through normal tasks in life. Being able to play a character and showing them that it's hard- it's hard just living sometimes. If I can help with that, that's great."
The series will move into what's next for Jude and Connor now that Connor will be living miles away and they try to work out a long-distance relationship.
The Fosters returns on Monday, January 25 at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
