Jada Pinkett Smith Oscars 2016: Wendy Williams Goes Off On Boycott 'Please, Sit' [VIDEO]
Wendy Williams is the latest celebrity to respond to Jada Pinkett Smith’s call for an Oscars boycott this year, and in true Williams fashion, she goes off on the actress.
Why Did Kerry Washington Skip The Golden Globe Awards?
Smith made news after she confirmed earlier this week that she would not be attending the Academy Awards this year after no black actors made the list of nominees. Well, many are saying that she is salty because her husband Will Smith did not get a nod for his impeccable performance in the new movie Concussion. And Williams seems to agree with them.
She started by saying she did go see Concussion and thought it was a phenomenal film before she said, “My son will never play football.”

She then gave a breakdown of who actually makes up the Oscars board and the people who decide the nominees and winners.
“You have personal reasons for being mad. Prior to this, all those people in Hollywood were perfectly fine with you and your family, right? So please, sit.”
She didn’t end there and added a different perspective on what the real issue is. “The other thing…How about women? This is more than just a black thing. It’s a thing thing. What do you think the Latino and Latina community is doing? How about the Asian community?”
Meanwhile, actor and funny guy Chris Rock has been pressured to step down as this year’s host. Williams said he should still serve as the emcee.
