'Bold and the Beautiful' Cast News: Kim Matula Finally Set To Return As Hope? [PHOTO]
She's been off the canvas for just over a year and fans have missed her horribly-but the time could finally be right for Kim Matula to bring Hope Logan back onto the canvas on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Since Hope left, her former love Liam (Scott Clifton) dated Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer), but ultimately reunited with Hope's nemesis and biggest competitor for his heart-Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). The two were engaged and planning to marry until a series of incidents with Ivy led to more misunderstandings than the two could count, and they have since seemed to split up. Ivy has also since gone back to Australia for the time being, meaning that if Steffy starts turning her sights toward's Liam's brother, Wyatt (Darin Brooks), that Liam could be truly available for Hope once and for all.
Despite her not being on the canvas, Hope's name has been mentioned more recently in the show's episodes. Her name has been brought up whenever Wyatt has talked about his past mistakes of dating or marrying women who had already been previously involved with his brother, her tradition for Thanksgiving was continued in her absence over the holidays, and she was also mentioned by her mother, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) recently as being in Monte Carlo with friends.
With her name popping up, and Liam being single, fans have renewed their fervent hopes that Hope will finally be back-commenting on several platforms that they would want her back so she and Liam can finally have their happily ever after ending without interference from Steffy, Wyatt or Ivy-including on preview videos for the episodes which aired on Jan. 20 and Jan. 22.
However, if Hope is headed back to the canvas, it is unlikely she will be portrayed by Matula, who has previously shot down all rumors of her return.
She took to Instagram back in August to deny rumors she would be returning with a photo of herself from when she was still on the show, and also denied rumors back in December after a fan commented on a post of her celebrating Hanukkah to once again say she wouldn't be back.
The show has not responded to rumors of a Hope return, whether by Matula or through a recast.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
